Many OEM In-dash Navigation units as well as some Aftermarket In-dash units, have restrictions on the Navigation unit. The restrictions prevent the driver and/or passenger from using the Navigation Unit to its full capability. Most of the functionality like entering addresses, viewing videos, dialing a phone number, or accessing an MP3 folder are grey'd out and unreachable. These restrictions are done by Manufacturers such as Infiniti, Nissan, Lexus, Toyota, Mercedes, Pioneer, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Range Rover plus many more.
