Nissan Titan Navigation Bypass Procedure

OK... here is what you have to do.

Basically, the NAVI unit won't let you do certain things if you are moving, so you have to trick it into thinking you aren't moving! This is actually fairly simple. All you need is:

First I gathered all the tools and stuff you will need. The shopping list is as follows:

A switch (Single Pole Single Throw)
Wire (I used 20 gauge, but smaller wouldn't hurt, it looked like the wires were more along the lines of 24 gauge)
Electrical tape or Wire Nuts (I went with wire nuts because it is faster and more reliable IMO)

The tools you will need:

Wire snips (you have to strip a lot of wire, and trust me you don't want to do it by hand)

The wires you are messing with are under the driver's seat where the Nav. DVD is.

On the back of the unit you will find a bunch of plastic wire harnesses. You have to find the one that looks like the piece below with the number 66 in it.

Here is how the speed sensor works, and why this hack works:

All you need to do, is splice the switch into wire 66. Make sure you remember that when you are looking at the female end of the wiring harness it is reversed. (ie: 66 is closer to the right in the diagram, but closer to the left when you look at the harness)
